Oldies 1013 is continuing its series of interviews with the candidates who have filed for Mayor and will appear on the ballot in the March political party primary.
Last week, current state representative Vivan Flowers was a guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show and on Monday, former Parks and Recreation Director Sam Glover was the guest.
Glover was asked why he was running for Mayor and answered this way.
Glover formerly worked for current Mayor Shirley Washington and said he has supported the things she has done while in office but believes it’s time for a change.
Glover said he has nothing against the current administration and is not running against any of the individuals who are seeking the office, but instead is running for Pine Bluff.
