A $5,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of punching an employee of Jefferson Regional Hospital Thursday.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Dorothy Hibbler, 38, with second-degree battery.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Chris Wieland, Deputy Prosecutor Joe West said a Pine Bluff Police Officer was working off-duty security at the hospital.
The Public Defender’s Office was appointed to represent Hibbler and she was ordered to come back to court Dec. 11.
