A $5,000 bond was set Friday for a Pine Bluff man who allegedly pointed a handgun at two people.

District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Payton Miller, 21, with two counts of aggravated assault.

Reading from a probable cause affidavit from Detective Enrique Soto, Deputy Prosecutor Mircha King described the circumstances leading to the arrest.

Miller said he would hire his own attorney and was ordered to have no contact with the victims until the case is settled.
