A $25,000 bond was set Thursday for a Pine Bluff man who allegedly threatened a police department employee.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Raymond Roush, 54, with first-degree terroristic threatening.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel explained what Roush is accused of doing.

Akel said Roush has three prior felony convictions in Arkansas and misdemeanor convictions in Florida and Texas for failure to register and violation of orders of protection.

Roush was told to come back to court Sept. 13 and said he would hire his own attorney.
