22-year-old Pine Bluff woman arrested after two infants found alone in a car at Dillards

22-year-old Aiyiana Arnold of Pine Bluff is the woman who was arrested after two infant’s were found in a vehicle outside of Dillards Thursday afternoon.

Sources tell Deltaplex News that the infants are twins and are around three months old.

A different source that works at Dillards tells Deltaplex News that Arnold is an employee there.

Arnold has been charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Minor according to the Jefferson County jail log.

ORIGINAL STORY:

A woman has been arrested after allegedly leaving two infants in a vehicle while she was shopping at the Dillards Outlet near the Pines Mall.

The incident took place Thursday afternoon.

According to law enforcement sources a woman was arrested when she returned outside from shopping after leaving the infants in the car for approximately 45 minutes. Officers sat with the infants after they were removed from the vehicle for approximately 30 minutes while waiting on the woman to return from inside of the store.

The woman’s name has not been released by the Pine Bluff Police Department at this time.

Deltaplex News is also told the infants are twins and are approximately three month old.

The Pine Bluff Police Department responded to the scene after a concerned citizen made a call to 911. Officers removed the infants from the vehicle they were left in upon arrival at the scene.

Department of Human Services was then contacted to take possession of the children after the woman was arrested.
