Wednesday is United Way Day on Oldies 1013 and this week, new United Way Director Jason Duren was joined by Tavonte Calhoun of the Boys and Girls Club of Jefferson County.

Morning show host Greg Horne asked Calhoun if the three club sites in Pine Bluff had gotten busier now that school has started.

Calhoun said the club is setting up the process of serving kids from the Watson Chapel area and still needs a few signatures on documents, which he described as a formality.

“We have the fun part down,” Calhoun said. “We’re good at having fun.”
