A Redfield man, Adam Belcher, 34, was arrested Sunday after White Hall Police stopped the dark blue Chevrolet Silverado Belcher was driving for fictitious tags.
During a court hearing Tuesday, Deputy Prosecutor MIrcha King explained why Belcher was arrested.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $10,000 bond for Belcher after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge him with theft by receiving. He was told to come back to court on May 5.
