WHSD School Board Holds Regularly Scheduled Board Meeting, Selects New School Board Director for Zone 5

On Tuesday, the White Hall school board met to discuss several agenda items and address selecting a new school board member. All board members were present as the meeting started. Close to the end of the meeting and executive session, the board made a consideration to appoint Brian Huitt from Redfield to replace current school board member James Welden when his term ends.

 

Also, after the executive session a recommendation was made to amend WHSD Superintendent Gary Williams’ contract where he will receive a 10% raise and a retention bonus with $5,000 included in two years. One year will be added to the contract along with amendments placed by the LEARNS Act.
