White Hall and Sheridan school districts among many in the state to close on day of Solar Eclipse

Nearly 100 school districts around the state will be closing on April 8th, as a huge influx of tourists are expected in Arkansas for the once in a lifetime total Solar Eclipse. White Hall and Sheridan will be closing that day, as are all districts in Hot Springs and Magnolia. Schools in Poyen will also not have classes on that day. City leaders statewide are expecting a hectic day, with nearly 1 millions people coming to Arkansas for the rare event. Other districts in the Deltaplex could be closing as well.
