WCSD School Board Holds Monthly Meeting, Elects New SB Pres., Vice Pres., Secretary

The Watson Chapel School board met for their monthly meeting on Monday to discuss agenda items. The meeting was called to order followed by election of officers. By vote, Goldie Whitaker was elected as Watson Chapel School Board President, Kelvin Moore was elected Vice President, and Mack Milner has been elected Secretary. The next action item on the agenda was a proposal bid for the WCSD to add KHall & Sons as a contracted vendor.

Superintendent Tom Wilson made the recommendation to add KHall & Sons Produce which led to a vote that passed unanimously.

WCSD school board members Rosemary White and Connie Compton were recognized for receiving atleast 25 hours of training as new board members. Superintendent Wilson also recognized the board for receiving an Outstanding Board Award.

 

Superintendent Wilson made one recommendation for Jeremiah Temple to serve as a part-time custodian.
