Ladonna Spain
Watson Chapel Assistant Superintendent LaDonna Spain has been hired as Superintendent of the Hermitage School District following a school board meeting at Hermitage on Tuesday night.
The vote to hire Spain was unanimous by the board.
Spain was hired by Watson Chapel in May 2021 to be the assistant for former Watson Chapel Superintendent Andrew Curry. Previous to that Spain served as Elementary School Principal at Woodlawn.
While at Woodlawn Spain also served as coordinator for federal programs, district equity and English language learners, as well as its homeless liaison.
Spain will begin serving the Hermitage School District in July.
