One person has been hospitalized after a shooting Sunday afternoon.

Neighbors say a teenage boy was shot. The extent of his injuries have not been released. It happened around 3:00 p.m. at a home near the intersection of Lilac and Howard Street in Pine Bluff. So far there are no details about what led up to the shooting. This is the third violent incident in that area in the past month. 64-year-old Terry Smith, a retired Pine Bluff teacher, was killed in an April shooting. Police believe it was a case of mistaken identity or he was caught in crossfire.

A week after that, 24-year-old Clifton McDowell was shot and killed in that neighborhood.
