As colleges and universities across the country plan for the upcoming fall semester, the President of Southeast Arkansas College, Dr. Steven Bloomberg said while some are looking at classes only on-line, there are others who plan to offer on-campus instruction.

Appearing on the Oldies 101.3 morning show Tuesday, Bloomberg said the school and the country are facing multiple challenges.

SEARK has been offering classes only on-line since late March and Bloomberg said while he thought it was going all right, it is not the same as being in a classroom and interacting with students.

He said one of the challenges the school is facing as It winds up the fall semester is how to continue the forward momentum, specifically, enrollment has increased and now the school, and many others across the country are anticipating a decrease in enrollment this fall.

To combat that, Bloomberg outlined an incentive program for students.
