There’s a new sheriff in Lincoln County and his name is Steve Young.
Young defeated current Lincoln County Chief Deputy Joe Paul Harrell Tuesday night when final results of the election were announced.
When asked what he attributed the win to, Young said he had worked hard talking to people and getting them to see his way of thinking.
Asked what the biggest crime problem facing Lincoln Count is, Young said this.
Young will place current Sheriff Leonard Hogg who is retiring at he end of the year.
