A Clarendon High School football coach, Caleb Hunter Gannon, has been arrested and charged with serious criminal offenses in West Memphis.
The arrest followed a request from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office to the Arkansas State Police (ASP) Criminal Investigation Division concerning allegations of sexual assault against a minor.
The 27-year-old was taken into custody without incident during a traffic stop on August 10, 2025.
Gannon faced court proceedings on August 11, 2025, where he was charged with Felony Rape and Engaging Children in Sexually Explicit Conduct for Use in a Visual or Print Medium.
His bond has been set at $3 million, and he is being held at the Prairie County Detention Center.
The investigation into the allegations is still ongoing.
