With a large decrease in quarantine and positive COVID-19 numbers in recent weeks the Sheridan School Board declined to vote on a mask mandate in a special called meeting on Monday night.

Due to the lack of a vote the district will maintain the current policy making it optional for students to wear masks while at school.

The meeting came on the heels of the “My Child, My Choice” rally on the Grant County Courthouse property on Sunday with State Senator Trent Garner in attendance.
