While many finally tuned athletes will be trying to bring home the Lombardi Trophy in the Super Bowl
this Sunday, others will try for the Lombarky Trophy. This year’s version of the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet will have an Arkansas feel. Four puppies rescued and transported from a Paris, Arkansas shelter
will be on the “field” this weekend. Volunteer Laura Beth Simon joined Rick Walker on Sunrise Deltaplex
to talk about how it all unfolded.

The adoption rate for puppies from the Puppy Bowl is 100%, so these Arkansas pups will soon be
enjoying their new “furever” home after the spotlight dims this Sunday. The Puppy Bowl will air at 1 p.m.
this Sunday on Animal Planet and will be streamed on Discovery+
