The Pine Bluff Police Department (PBPD) will be hosting a Toy Drive on Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 10:00am until 3:00pm. This event is for children throughout the community who are less fortunate than others, according to a PBPD post on Facebook.
The following is the list of scheduled times and locations where toys will be distributed:
- 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. John Apartments (1105 East 26th Avenue)
- 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Southeast Apartments (1100 East 36th Avenue)
- 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Central Park (23rd Avenue / Hickory Street)
- 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Martin Luther King Park (Reinhart and Oakland Park Drive)
In addition to toy giveaways, there will also be bike raffles, the Facebook post said. The theme for this event is “Every Child Goes Home With a Smile.”
“We hope to see you there,” said a PBPD spokesperson.
