Last week, the Pine Bluff School District cancelled a dance that had been scheduled following the high school’s football game Friday.
On Tuesday, School District Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree was asked about that when she appeared on the Oldies 1013 morning show.
Barbaree mentioned an investigation and morning show host Greg Horne asked her if that meant the Pine Bluff Police Department of Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office was involved or was it an internal investigation.
Horne then asked if the fights were gang related or was it just “kids being kids” and Barbaree answered this way.
She said a make-up date for the dance has not been scheduled but it will be in October)
