A 23-year-old Little Rock man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on the I-40 Frontage Road Wednesday.
According to a preliminary report, Cameron Barker was westbound on the frontage road at a high rate of speed when the 2010 GMC he was driving collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer that had pulled out of a parking lot at 9524 I-40 Frontage. Barker was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 4:48 p.m. and the death was the 163rd so far this year on the state’s highways.
