The Pine Bluff Convention Center hosted its first-ever rodeo over the Fourth of July holiday weekend and director Joseph McCorvy talked about the crowd that attended the event when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 morning show Friday.
Morning show host Greg Horne told McCorvy that the convention center has not held a lot of recent events because of the costs involved, going on to say that regardless of the bottom line, more needs to be done for the community.
Efforts promoting the new hotel that will be attached to the convention center were also discussed by McCorvy.
McCorvy also explained the role of the USDA in the process.
