Jason Teague with the Sherridan Police Department confirms that 1 person died, and another transported to local hospital Monday afternoon at the Sheridan Heights Estates apartment complex. At 2:54 OEM in Grant County received a 911 call in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a shooting victim and noticed a fire in the apartment. Officer later did apprehend the suspect inside the apartment after the fire had been suppressed. Sheridan Police say as further details emerge from their investigation they will inform the public.
