An Oklahoma man was killed in an accident Monday morning on I-530 North.
According to a report from the Arkansas State Police, 62-year-old Greg Sadler from Collinsville, Oklahoma was driving a 2006 Mazda northbound on I-530 just north of Pratt Road at 8:49 a.m. Monday when his vehicle began to drift to the west shoulder.
The report states Sadler overcorrected towards the right, going across both lanes of traffic onto the east shoulder where the vehicle overturned before striking a tree.
Sadler was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Pulaski County Coroner.
31-year-old Katie Sadler and two minors were injured in the accident and were transported to Little Rock hospitals for treatment.
Weather conditions were dry and the road was clear at the time of the accident, according to the report.
Sadler’s death was the 241st death on Arkansas highways in 2023.
