A Malvern woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Hot Spring County Wednesday afternoon.
State Police reported that Jessica Berry, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene after the accident on Highway 84 West of Irvin Road in Malvern.
The preliminary report said Berry was east bound on a Honda motorcycle when the driver of a 2008 Chevrolet that was westbound crossed the center line and into the path of the motorcycle. After the collision, both vehicles traveled off the south side of the highway and Berry was pinned under the Chevrolet as both vehicles became engulfed in flame.
The death was the 541st reported on the state’s highways so far this year.
