Jefferson County Coroner Chad Kelly has confirmed to Deltaplex News that a black male body was located in a partially wooded area near 18th and Chestnut at 11:50am today. Kelly pronounced the unidentified victim deceased. His body will be taken to the state crime lab for further investigation and to determine the cause and manner of death.
