A Magnolia woman was killed when she was struck by two vehicles while walking on Interstate 40 in North Little Rock Tuesday.
According to a preliminary report, Hayley Ward, 36, was walking across the interstate in the right lane to the center lane at 7:52 p.m. when she was hit by a 2018 GMC Sierra which knocked her into the right lane where she was hit by a Ford F-150 that was westbound.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death was the 558th so far this year on the state’s highways.
