Logan Guynn, a standout student from White Hall High School, has been elected to serve on the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) National Executive Council following a competitive election at the organization’s National Leadership Conference, held July 5–9 in Orlando, Florida.

Guynn, the daughter of Alex and Lynn Guynn, will serve as FCCLA’s Vice President of Public Relations for the 2025–2026 school year. She is one of only ten student leaders selected nationwide to serve on the prestigious council, which represents over 200,000 members across the United States.

The 2025 National Leadership Conference drew record-breaking attendance, with more than 10,000 students, advisers, and guests participating in leadership training, competitive events, and educational workshops. A total of 27 National Officer Candidates from across the country competed for a place on the council, undergoing a rigorous selection process that included intensive interviews, an FCCLA knowledge assessment, and a prepared speech delivered on stage.

As part of her new role, Guynn will travel to FCCLA’s National Headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, for a planning session with her fellow officers. Together, they will refine the organization’s program of work, set goals for the coming year, and prepare workshops, leadership events, and national initiatives. Guynn will also help plan the 2026 National Leadership Conference, scheduled for July 6–10 in Washington, D.C.

“Logan’s dedication, leadership, and passion for FCCLA have always set her apart,” said Mollie Rowe, Guynn’s National Executive Council Adviser. “Being elected as Vice President of Public Relations is a reflection of her hard work and strong character. I am incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and can’t wait to see the positive impact she will make on a national level.”

Election to the National Executive Council is the highest leadership honor available to FCCLA members. The organization, founded in 1945, empowers students to develop skills in career preparation, leadership, financial literacy, environmental education, community service, and traffic safety — preparing them to be leaders both in their communities and future careers.
