The Watson Chapel School District is planning to donate Christmas baskets to the families of students and to members of the community later this month, according to District Superintendent Dr. Keith McGee.
McGee appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show with the new director of Student Support Services, Katie Hubanks, and explained that the project came about because of support for the Wildcat Store, an on-campus resource McGee began when he was hired last year.
The give-away is called “Hope for the Holidays” and McGee explained what the district will be doing.
He went on to say this.
Hubanks joined the conversation and talked about the program.
McGee and Hubanks also said they need volunteers to help distribute the baskets.
