The Watson Chapel School District has instituted a new program to improve the safety of students and faculty members and Superintendent Dr. Keith McGee talked about that when he appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Morning Show host Greg Horne noted that there had been a school shooting Wednesday but that did not get a lot of media attention because of the shooting of Charlie Kirk. He asked Neal to talk about programs and policies that are going to be implemented and McGee spoke up.
McGee said the district will start out with two full-time police officers with the intention of expanding to four later. That will allow one officer to be at each campus with Neal being able to float between campuses.
