A $5,000 bond was set Monday for a Wabbaseka man accused of injuring an elderly relative during an altercation Sunday.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Homer Martinez, 29, with second-degree domestic battery.
Deputy Prosecutor Ty Spradlin said Martinez was arrested after a sheriff’s deputy responded to a reported domestic disturbance in the early morning hours Sunday.
Martinez was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court July 28.
