With several vendors halting services to Jefferson County offices, County Judge Gerald Robinson attempted to hold a special quorum court meeting Tuesday night to address the situation. However, the meeting could not proceed due to a lack of quorum.
Six Justices, Alfred Carroll, Reginald Adams, Reginald Johnson, Margarette Williams, Cedric Jackson, and Brenda Bishop Gaddy, declined to attend the meeting, leaving the court without enough members present to conduct business. As a result, the session was canceled.
Following the failed meeting, Judge Robinson spoke with Deltaplex News, expressing concern over the ongoing impasse.
