The United Way of Southeast Arkansas will hold its Impact Team Days on May 5-6 to help determine how funds will be allocated within the community.
Jason Duren, executive director of the United Way of Southeast Arkansas, spoke with the Oldies 101.3 morning show to explain the role of the Impact Teams.
Duren said that the amount of people on each team depends on the amount of applications they have to go through.
Duren added that organizations are required to submit impact data each quarter so the United Way can monitor how funds are being used.
Deb Pyland of SEARK Heating and Air serves as chair of the United Way’s fundraising efforts and spoke about her role as part of the Impact Teams.
Duren added that no other organization gives team members a closer look at how every dollar is used than the United Way.
