In early November, the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Unity hosted Unity Summit 2025. The summit is designed to build a bridge across generations and the areas of business, education, the arts, and community among current and emerging global leaders. This year’s summit, with the theme “Voices that Shape, Futures That Rise,” explored the areas of community Health & Wellness, Education & Literacy, Economic Opportunity, and Media & Culture as it relates to connection and creativity.

Along with executives from major companies, such as Walmart, Netflix, Tyson, and Riceland, this year’s attendees included 19 students from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff’s Emerging Scholars Leadership Institute (ESLI).

UAPB students were able to participate in sessions related to health and wellness, education and literacy, economic opportunities, and media and culture. Industry leaders shared their stories and helped the students see that they, too, could aspire to the top roles in their chosen spaces and serve people in a way that would empower their communities.

The Unity Summit also explored areas related to artificial intelligence and wellness-driven performance. Through founder John Gaiters, the summit strives to unite diverse voices and showcase shared values among global executives, artists, and emerging leaders.
