Trey “BoDirt” Bohannan, a conservative Republican and longtime business owner, held a series of events across the state Thursday in support of his campaign for Arkansas Senate District 10.
One of those stops took place Thursday evening at the Stuttgart Regional Airport.
Bohannan, founder and owner of Design One Contracting, launched the company 25 years ago as a one-man mowing operation. Since then, he has grown it into one of eastern Arkansas’ leading excavation and construction firms, offering services that include earthwork, industrial erosion control, storm drain installation and commercial landscaping.
In recognition of the company’s success, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders named Design One Arkansas Business of the Month in May 2024.
Bohannan spoke with Deltaplex News on Thursday about his decision to run for office and his priorities for Senate District 10.
Bohannan said that, if elected, he wants to support Arkansas farmers and expressed concern about how conditions could unfold over the next 10 days.
He also shared what he would like voters to know about him.
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders also spoke with Deltaplex News about her decision to endorse Bohannan in the District 10 race.
