The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a collision that occurred Friday evening in the Moscow community, where a train struck a tractor.
According to information obtained by Deltaplex News, the accident did not result in any injuries or fatalities. Authorities confirmed that the scene was cleared without incident and that the affected rail line is expected to reopen shortly.
By the time Deltaplex News arrived at the location, the tractor had already been removed from the tracks.
Officials have not yet released details on the cause of the accident, but the investigation remains ongoing.
