One man was killed and another injured Sunday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident along U.S. Highway 65 in rural Drew County, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police.
The crash occurred at approximately 4:25 p.m. on October 12, 2025.
Police said a 2005 Nissan traveling south on U.S. 65 left the roadway and struck a culvert before becoming airborne. The vehicle then hit several trees, overturned, and ejected both the driver and passenger.
The driver, identified as Eric White, 48, of Tillar, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger, James Hewing Jr., 53, of McGehee, was injured in the crash.
The accident was investigated by State Police Trooper 3818.
