Watson Chapel School District Superintendent Dr. Keith McGee was a guest on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show Tuesday and before he talked about what happened at the school board meeting Monday night, host Greg Horne asked him about an incident that occurred last week at the conclusion of a high school basketball tournament game.
Horne was taking about the England-Barton game that ended in a massive fight involving players, fans and parents on both sides, and he asked McGee about it, saying that if he was the superintendent of a school district that had a reputation for incidents like that, how would he get the kids to understand they have to keep their selves under control?
He went on to say this.
“That was a big message,” Horne said. “You worked all year to get to the championship.”
