The Stuttgart Police Department has identified the victim in Sunday’s fatal shooting at JB Bryant Park as Treveon Jones.
Authorities confirmed that one suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the case. However, the suspect’s name has not been released, as the investigation remains active and ongoing.
In a statement, the department expressed its gratitude to multiple agencies that assisted in the investigation, including the Arkansas State Police, Arkansas County Sheriff’s Office, Tri-County Task Force, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, Pine Bluff Police Department, and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
“Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of Treveon Jones during this difficult time,” the department said.
