Stephanie Chisom Announces Re-Election Bid for Drew County Clerk

Incumbent Drew County Clerk Stephanie Chisom has formally announced her campaign for re-election, reaffirming her commitment to maintaining transparency, efficiency, and integrity in county government.

“It has been a privilege to serve you as Drew County clerk,” Chisom said in her announcement. “As I seek re-election, I remain steadfast in my commitment to providing courteous and efficient service while upholding the highest standards of honesty, security, and transparency in our elections and county government as a whole.”

During her current term, Chisom has introduced several measures to enhance service to the public, including offering passport application processing and digitizing county records — such as ordinances, court orders, election documents, and marriage licenses — dating back to 1940.

“Since assuming office, I have worked diligently to enhance public access and improve services,” she said. “I have and will continue to move Drew County forward.”

Chisom emphasized that public trust is built on accountability, professionalism, and accessibility, and pledged that her office will continue striving for those standards if she is re-elected.

“With your vote, my staff and I will continue to work toward that goal if re-elected,” she stated.

She closed her announcement by expressing gratitude and a desire to keep serving the citizens of Drew County.
