At Tuesday night’s Sheridan city council meeting the members held a second reading of a proposal to allow Joey Coleman’s Fresh Market to apply for a private club license.

Sheridan Mayor Cain Nattin told Deltaplex News how the process is laid out.

Nattin emphasized that the council’s vote has no effect on the state’s decision to grant a license.

Nattin explained what Coleman wants to do if the license is approved.

The city council will have a third and final reading on the proposal in September and if it passes, the full ABC board will have to approve it.
