Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders joined Trey “Bo Dirt” Bohannan on the campaign trail Thursday, making several stops across eastern Arkansas, including an evening event at the Stuttgart Regional Airport.
A key topic of discussion was the challenges farmers are facing in early 2026.
Sanders spoke with Deltaplex News about why she believes Bohannan is the right candidate to help Arkansas farmers address those concerns.
Sanders also said she wants to continue reducing the state income tax with the goal of eventually eliminating it so Arkansans no longer have to pay it.
