The long-awaited hotel expansion at the Saracen Casino Resort is nearing completion, with resort officials indicating that guest room reservations could begin within days.

During a recent interview, Saracen Chief Market Officer Carlton Saffa said management staff have already begun occupying rooms as part of the final testing and quality-control process. According to Saffa, the resort is working through final details before opening reservations to the public.

Saffa said the hotel will open in phases, with additional floors becoming available over time. He noted that management and staff are using the rooms to identify and address any remaining issues before guests arrive.

While no official opening date has been announced, Saffa said the property is very close to accepting reservations and that the public can expect an announcement soon through the casino’s social media channels and a formal press release.

The hotel project is the latest major addition to the Pine Bluff resort, which has continued to expand since opening. Resort officials say the new facility is designed to complement the recently opened event center, which has already hosted concerts, comedy shows and special events.

Saffa also highlighted the performance venue, describing it as an intimate concert setting with seating for approximately 1,700 guests and flexible configurations for entertainment and banquet events.

Upcoming performances include country artist Jake Owen, singer John Legend, comedian Jeff Foxworthy and several other nationally known acts. Saffa said additional entertainment announcements are expected throughout the year as the venue continues to build its event calendar.

Resort officials say the combination of the new hotel, casino and entertainment venue is intended to position Saracen as a regional destination for gaming, concerts, meetings and overnight stays.
