Saracen Casino Resort has announced its grand opening celebration will feature an evening with EGOT-winning artist John Legend.
“An Evening With John Legend: A Night of Songs & Stories” is scheduled for June 13, 2026, at 8 p.m. Tickets start at $149 plus applicable fees and will go on sale Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
Legend is an EGOT-winning, critically acclaimed, multiplatinum artist and producer who has earned 13 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Tony Award and four Emmy Awards. He is one of only 19 entertainers to achieve EGOT status, placing him among an elite group recognized for excellence across music, film, television and theater.
Throughout his career, Legend has released 11 albums, including Get Lifted (2004), Once Again (2006), Evolver (2008), Wake Up! with The Roots (2010), Love in the Future (2013), Darkness and Light (2016), A Legendary Christmas (2018), Bigger Love (2020), LEGEND (2022), LEGEND (Solo Piano Version) (2023) and My Favorite Dream (2024).
Following the release of the 20th anniversary digital deluxe edition of Get Lifted, which features new remixes and collaborations, Legend launched his “Get Lifted 20th Anniversary World Tour” in May. The North American leg begins in August.
In addition to his music career, Legend has made a significant impact on television and film. He portrayed Jesus in NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert in 2018, earning an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor and winning an Emmy as a producer for Outstanding Variety Special (Live). He has also served as a coach on NBC’s The Voice, beginning with Season 16 in 2019, and is set to return for Season 29.
Legend is also a producer and entrepreneur. He co-founded Get Lifted Film Co., which has produced projects for major networks and streaming platforms, including the Emmy-winning HBO documentary 1000% ME: Growing Up Mixed, Paramount+’s LOUDMOUTH and Netflix’s Rhythm & Flow. The company also supports publishing through Get Lifted Books.
In 2023, Legend launched Loved01, a self-care brand offering skincare products. In 2024, he and his wife, Chrissy Teigen, introduced Kismet, a dog lifestyle brand available online and at Chewy.com.
Legend is also known for his advocacy work. He founded FREEAMERICA in 2015 to promote criminal justice reform and serves on several nonprofit and advisory boards. He was recently named Philanthropist of the Year at The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Social Impact Summit.
Saracen Casino Resort, owned by the Quapaw Nation of Oklahoma, is Arkansas’ only purpose-built casino resort. The June 13 concert will serve as a highlight of the resort’s grand opening festivities.
