Students across Jefferson County will get a special holiday surprise Friday when Santa Claus arrives by helicopter for a daylong tour of local schools.

The annual flight is organized and funded by Joe Spadoni of Midtown Tire and Foster’s Towing, who hires a helicopter each year to bring Santa to children across the community. The 2025 route includes stops at elementary schools in Pine Bluff, White Hall and Redfield, beginning at Broadmoor Elementary at 9:40 a.m.

The fly-in visit is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4, with a backup date of Saturday, Dec. 5 in case of weather.
