A $5,000 cash-only bond has been set for a Rison man after drugs were allegedly discovered in his vehicle during a traffic stop by the White Hall Police Department.

Pine Bluff District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond Monday after finding probable cause to hold 42-year-old David Lee Aud on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.

The cash-only bond was imposed because Aud is currently on probation stemming from a prior conviction in Lincoln County, court records show. During Monday’s probable cause hearing, a warrant was also served for violation of the conditions of his probation. Those allegations will be addressed in a separate proceeding at a later date.

Aud is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 2, 2026, to answer to the new charge filed Monday.
