The Rising Warriors Academy held its inaugural open house on Thursday.
The academy was granted the authority to open its doors in March of this year under the ‘Learns Act’ with the Educational Freedom Account (EFA) program.
Together with several non profits, including ’We Center-We Build’, the Academy will provide alternative Christian based curriculum as well as practical curriculum such as construction and plumbing.
Founder Sherrie Sams expressed how pleased she was with the turnout.
She also expressed her vision for education for the next generation.
The Rising Warriors Academy is located at 3030 S. Midland Drive in Pine Bluff.
