Pine Bluff Woman Faces Charges for Alleged Assault with Vehicle

A $5,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff woman accused of trying to hit her former boyfriend with a vehicle Tuesday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Isabelle McKenzie, 23, with aggravated assault on a family or household member.

Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Brittaney Akel said at about 10:30 p.m., police were sent to a residence on Carbon Street in response to a reported domestic dispute.

McKenzie was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to come back to court Aug. 6.
