A $5,000 bond was set Tuesday for a Pine Bluff woman who was arrested after injuring a police officer who was trying to arrest her.
Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Shakara Richardson, 21, with second-degree battery.
Reading from an affidavit by Detective Jason Boykin, Deputy Prosecutor Shana Alexander said on Sunday at 2:39 a.m., police were sent to a reported domestic disturbance between Richardson and her mother on 29th Avenue.
Richardson was also treated at the hospital before being taken to jail. She was told to come back to court April 1.
