A $20,000 bond was set Wednesday for a Pine Bluff woman previously convicted of a felony who was arrested after a gun was found in her bag.
Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Lecole Wilson, 27, with being a felon in possession of a firearm.
The allegation is based on an affidavit from Detective Sgt. Corey Wilfong that said on Tuesday at 10:59 a.m., police were sent to 2524 W. 28th Ave., in response to reported suspicious activity and met with the manager on duty.
A deputy prosecutor picked up the story from there.
Wilson has a prior felony conviction from 2019 and the Arkansas Department of Corrections has placed a parole hold on her with no bond.
Wilson was told to come back to court Jan. 21.
