Unlike other school districts in Arkansas who just started, the Pine Bluff School District is nearing the end of its fourth week because of its year-round schedule.
District Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree was asked how things were going so far when she appeared on the Oldies1013 Morning Show.
Jennifer Lipp, who was sitting in for Morning Show host Greg Horne told Barbaree that “the fact that you’re closing the gap makes all the difference in the world.”
There was a school board meeting Monday and Barbaree was asked what happened at that meeting.
Lipp asked Barbaree if there was anything in place that she was focusing on this semester and Barbaree answered this way.
She went on to explain that she wanted to make sure that the implementation of the Capturing Kids Hearts program is in place.
